![]() Whilst I didn’t like the game, I do wish they went for the art style used in Sonic Lost World - that was clear, fun and a better representation of the 2D classic games. It all looks rather confusing, keeping track of your character in that boss fight looks a nightmare. I didn’t get sonic mania because i desperately want a new modern sonic. I’m always stuck buying a sonic game hoping it’s good. How many uninspired, critically-panned 3D Sonic games will Sega pump out before consumers finally admit that Sonic doesn't work in 3D? I fear a massive letdown from this game, especially after how amazing Mania was. The fact that Forces appears to spend most of its time in 2D reeks of no confidence from Sonic Team in their product. Not happy about the focus on the Avatar or the fact this game looks like it’s going to be spending 80% of its time in 2D when it’s meant to be a 3D Sonic game. Enough with the 3D sonic games, they're all terrible. ![]() I'm predicting this game will be mediocre at best, while Sonic fanboys in denial will put it in the "elite" category like they did with Colors and Generations. Was looking forward to Sonic Forces but not quite sure what to think now. Gameplay does look very much like Sonic Colors. The question is, will it matter? After Sonic Mania became the most highly praised Sonic game in years, it'll be interesting to see the response to Forces. Sod Avatars and Wispons can I just play as Sonic? It has rings, springs, dash panels, badniks, loop-de-loops, classic styled checkpoints etc. Might not be as good as Sonic Mania, but it's not Sonic Mania to begin with. I'm not sure how I'll manage to play them all, but I'll sure enjoy the "struggle" I'm so happy we're finally getting more stage footage from this game! I have good feelings about Forces. XD Soundtrack is great, too! Is this even a Sonic game anymore? Modern Sonic entries are so confusing. I can totally picture myself doing the same levels over and over again. These themes are just begging to be used in a AMV. I'm gonna have to buy the game just to enjoy the Avatar themes soundtrack. I'm sure it be fun to view the purposely bad creations as well.
